Well, well, well. Here we are, once
again. You missed me, didn't you?
If the [serious] lack of updates on this page was indicative of the
comings and goings of OttO Vector, then one would assume that the band
hasn't been doing much these days. I assure you, true believers,
that this is most definitely NOT the case! In fact, we've been SO
busy that we haven't had time to do diddly to this site for eons.
OttO's been hitting the pavement extremely hard since last we checked in
here, playing gigs all over this fine land of ours. AND we've
managed to record a new CD along the way.
"WHAAAAAAT? A NEW CD?"
Yes, it's true. We began the project at the tail end of August,
and it was yanked from our hands at the bitter end of October.
Amidst the toils of gigging, polluting our faces and selling our bodies,
we were able to finish a brand-new, full-length album.
And that's not all. We happen to think that the new disc is pretty
a-o-k. We think you'll dig it.
In fact, we're having a CD-release show to celebrate the arrival of OttO
Vector's latest, 5 Bits To Byte, next week. Here's
the skinny:
Friday, November 16th. At
Luna in Royal Oak, MI. $5, 21+.
Doors at 9pm.
Not 21? No prob- we've got you covered. CD-Release II: at
The Modern Exchange in Southgate, MI-
Friday, November 23rd. ALL AGES. You dig?
Word.
You'll also notice that most of the links on this site have been
removed. Why? The content hidden behind those links is so
ancient and so-not-worth-looking-at...so we killed it all. For
simplicity's sake, our current info is currently housed at our
MySpace page, so hit that for the
latest. Someday this place may be pimp, so don't forsake it just
yet.
We'll see you soon, sugar daddies and mommas. Oh. Okay.

Hey pals. Sorry for the lack of
updates around here- we've been busy with shows and such. As with
most band websites these days, the focus has definitely shifted from
ottovector.com to
MySpace.
Let's face it- the latter is both waaaay more convenient and much easier
to maintain. If you need the latest updates from the world of OttO,
keep in mind that this site will more than likely be a wee bit behind
our
MySpace page.
Okey dokey? That having been said...we're "planning" on launching
a new version of this outdated lump-o-diaper site, one that will
coincide with the release of our new album. "New album?
WTF?" Yep, OttO's hitting the studio next month. Our
goal is to crank this puppy out quickly, smack it around with a club of
"no nonsense," and have CDs in your grubby hands this Fall. Sound
good? Dope.
We've also got a few gigs lined up in the meantime. Some are
local, some are distant...but all are guaranteed to smell like wet
noodles. Cool?
ALSO:
You may notice the occasional "broken link" or "page not found" on this
site- we're aware of these issues. Just ignore them, and
eventually they'll go away. Or they'll ignore you, and you'll go
away. Or whatever. |
